I've had the complete pleasure of having Liisa Ramsey as my exclusive hairdresser for over 18 years. I don't have the easiest head of locks to deal with and spent many years prior with hairdressers who damaged my hair due to their lack of knowledge and expertise. Liisa 's color knowledge is superior and we've also spent many years trying styles to deal with my fine hair texture. She never fails to amaze me with her knowledge. She is a true professional in every aspect of her business. She is always on top of the latest in styles and the highest quality products. Her ongoing desire to be the best through continued education in her field is endless.
I wouldn't settle for less! The salon itself offers a beautiful and comfortable interior design and atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming. You'll never go without the friendliest of greeting and offer of assistance. I can't seem to go anywhere without people asking me "Who does your hair color and style?" I tell them all I'm lucky to be blessed with getting the best ! I wouldn't hesitate to tell people to "run" not walk to your next decision for a salon selection at Echelon in historic Folsom, California.

I never knew my hair could be so beautiful!  I went to get a cut/color, like I have at other salons in the past, but this time the stylist made a few suggestions on my color and the layers.... I am SO happy that I trusted her opinion..... I have never had so many compliments on my look (even by my co-workers)!!!  And my fiancé is in love with my new side-swept bangs and warm-auburn tones.  I loved my experience so much that I've already had a consultation to have my hair, makeup, and nails done here for my upcoming wedding!  I will never go anywhere else again.


I'm not one to take the time to write a review...BUT, I had such a wonderful experience that I really wanted to share some good feelings especially in today's world. I was a new customer at Echelon Salon and I was very very happy with the whole experience. I had my hair colored, cut and styled and am thrilled with the results. The whole staff was friendly and helpful and just a lot of fun. I enjoyed myself so much that I went back and had some extra pampering done with their esthetician , what a treat!

This is a very comfortable & lovely setting where Vanessa performs her magic!! Her facials are truly relaxing & effective. My skin was a mess before she got her hands on it. I had acne & my freckles started to fuse together because of the sun. Now, my skin is clear, soft, & supple. She educated me on the do's & don'ts of skin care with patience & ease. I highly recommend her to everyone. One of a kind experience!

I highly recommend this small venue with a big heart. Everyone is friendly & courteous. I felt right at home. The variety of services is amazing. Anything from hair to skin care. Even permanent make-up. Go and check it out yourself. They are always timely & efficient with superb customer service. In an industry where you are treated like a number, here, you are always treated like you are number 1!!

This salon is simply the best! After having another Folsom salon ruin my hair color the stylist at Echelon repaired the damage and gave me the best color I have ever had. Totally perfect! I Highly recommend Liisa and all the stylists there to everyone.

I've been going to Liisa's Salon for years that I can't even count them. Everyone there is so friendly. Liisa keeps me updated with the latest hairstyles and cuts. I always leave there happy.

I'm still going to Echelon and have to say it is the BEST HAIR SALON EVER! Thanks Liisa for keeping my styles updated and always looking great.

A comfortable, yet professional salon offering all the amenities I could ask for. The owner and staff make me feel right at home when I first walk in the door. It's also a comfort to know that whatever the service, I get the desired results! Hair...nails...massage...they truly amazing at what they do!!

By far, the nicest people working there to take care of your hair, nails, and skin. I go there with the thought in mind, that I am going to be pampered and cared for. That is what Echelon Salon is all about. Jessica keeps me looking my best and feeling young, she is an amazing colorist. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me.

I have very fine thin hair, I have been getting extensions for 5 years and when I moved up here I tried a few salons in the area to do extensions and I was displeased, because I paid a lot of money and the color was off, it just didn't look right. Since I came here I am so happy with my hair, the quality and blending of the extensions is perfect. You would never have known I even had them in. This is my new place. This is the place to get your hair done if you actually want quality results.
